Dear Welder Series: brake pedal substitution?

Dear Welder Series…
Looking at the brake booster kit WS24806. Can you get the same kit but with a pedal arm that is flat with no kinks or bends. If so, will it be the same price?

Thanks

GM Triangulated Rear 4-Link Suspension Kit

Designed with the tried-and-true triangulated 4-link configuration used by GM for decades, this rear suspension kit provides enhanced stability and eliminates the need for a Panhard bar. Its adaptable design accommodates various frame widths, making it a versatile choice for custom builds and restorations.

High-Quality Construction and Design

  • Bars: Constructed from 1″ heavy-wall seamless tubing, each bar is tapped at one end with a 3/4-16 thread and precision-notched for the urethane bushing tube on the other. The upper bars measure approximately 18" center-to-center, while the lower bars span about 25" center-to-center. This setup ensures strong support and effective articulation.
  • Frame Brackets: CNC-formed from 10-gauge pickled & oiled mild steel, the upper frame brackets are robust and can be trimmed for a perfect fit across a range of frame widths. The lower frame brackets feature a 3/16" thick section for frame welding, providing extra durability where it’s needed most.
  • Axle Brackets and Tabs: Made from 3/16" pickled & oiled mild steel, the axle brackets and upper axle tabs are engineered to withstand the demands of high-performance applications.

Adjustable Coil-Over Mounting
This kit offers three mounting positions for coil-overs on the axle brackets, allowing for flexible ride height adjustment and suspension tuning. For those preferring to install coil-overs later, consider our adjustable ride height setup tool, which temporarily replaces coil-overs during the build phase. This tool preserves coil-over integrity and provides clearance checks for components like the exhaust and driveshaft through suspension travel.

Premium Energy Suspension Bushings
All bracketry is matched to the outer diameter of Energy Suspension urethane bushings (1-3/4" wide, 1-5/8" OD), which deliver excellent vibration dampening and add a clean, streamlined appearance upon assembly. The kit includes 3/4-16 threaded adjusters to fine-tune suspension alignment for a tailored fit to your build’s specifications.

Welded vs. Ready-to-Weld Kits

  • Welded Kit: In the welded option, all parts that can be pre-welded by our team are assembled, including the lower frame brackets, bars, adjusters, and the coil-over support block within the axle brackets.
  • Ready-to-Weld Kit: This option is fully customizable, arriving unwelded for those who prefer control over the final assembly, especially in adjusting the bar bracket angle to the front frame bracket.

Additional Options and Accessories
For builds requiring 3-1/4" axle tube brackets, these are available as an add-on. Check our related products for additional accessories to complete your setup.
