When we ran a full service chassis fab/turn-key hot rod shop a number of years ago, it was always useful to have threaded things around to weld into the frame for some kind of mount, etc.

Welder Series original! A clean, simple Model A front body mount.
Front outside mount that welds to the frame instead of drilling and tapping to bolt it on. Simply bend the gusset with a pair of slip-lock pliers. This is much cleaner than the stock style. The 3/16″ thick steel is thicker than the stock Ford mount. Holes are 9/16″ diameter on 2-3/8″ centers.
