Old Products: threaded stuff

When we ran a full service chassis fab/turn-key hot rod shop a number of years ago, it was always useful to have threaded things around to weld into the frame for some kind of mount, etc.

Here’s a list of all our threaded things for your reference:

Ford Small Block Motor Mount Kit

This motor mount kit is designed specifically for Ford small block engines, including the 260, 289, 302, 5.0, 351W, 351C, and 400 models. Built to minimize vibrations and provide a stable engine mounting solution, this kit is ideal for custom and performance builds.

Vibration-Dampening Design:
Featuring large 1-3/4" wide urethane bushings, these mounts deliver superior insulation from engine vibrations, ensuring a smoother ride and reduced wear on mounting points.

Installation Notes:

  • For blocks with three threaded mounting bosses, you may need to trim the middle boss if it protrudes beyond the outer two. Alternatively, spacers can be used to clear the center boss.
  • Bolt Hole Spacing: 7/16" bolt holes are precisely spaced 7" on center to fit Ford small block engines.
  • Mounting Measurements: The distance from the bushing center to the 7/16" bolt centerline is 3-9/16", and the frame plates measure 6" from the frame edge to the 1/2" bolt center for ideal alignment.

Boxed Frame Compatibility:
Designed for use in boxed frames, this kit includes all necessary parts and grade 5 hardware for easy installation. You can choose between a fully TIG welded kit for quick setup or a ready-to-weld kit for customization.

For added reinforcement, explore our related products for a frame filler plate to install between the frame plates, enhancing stability and strength.
