Hi there I have recently purchased your universal 4-link kit and I am just wondering how do I find the axle center line?

Dear Luke…
The best way is to put the body on the frame (with the pickup bed, if it’s a truck), put the fenders on, and center the tires.  If you have the patience to use both sides, this will let you know if the body has been knocked out of square.  This way you know the tire is in the right place, visually, and that’s what you will see when your project is finished.

To find axle centerline after the tires are positioned, put a length of electrical conduit or other tube through the center holes of the wheels.  The tube will roll to the bottom.  Drop a plumb line off of the frame down to the 12 o’clock position on the tube.
