Residual pressure valve designed to retain a small amount of brake line pressure to reduce excessive pedal travel in hydraulic brake systems. This 2 lb valve is intended primarily for disc brake applications where the master cylinder is mounted below the level of the calipers. In these situations, gravity and vibration can cause fluid drain-back and excessive caliper piston retraction, resulting in a long or inconsistent pedal.

The 2 lb residual pressure helps prevent fluid from flowing back into the master cylinder without creating brake drag. Machined from billet aluminum and finished in blue anodizing, this valve is color-coded for quick identification and corrosion resistance.
