Problem solving hot rod chassis parts for 46 years.
Old Products: threaded stuff
When we ran a full service chassis fab/turn-key hot rod shop a number of years ago, it was always useful to have threaded things around to weld into the frame for some kind of mount, etc.
Here’s a list of all our threaded things for your reference:
3/8" size available in standard duty and Teflon-lined for heavier duty applications. We use the Teflon lined heims for our rear sway bar kits and front Panhard kits. We use the standard duty heims in our brake pedal kits. 3/8-24 rod ends have a 3/8" hole. 3/4-16 rod ends have a 3/4" hole. Teflon lined 3/8" rod ends are a yellow/gold anodized color. Non-Teflon rod ends are zinc plated.
We use the 3/4" rod ends for steering shaft supports.
3/8" heims have 1-3/16" of threads. 3/4" heims have 1-3/4" of threads.
