When we ran a full service chassis fab/turn-key hot rod shop a number of years ago, it was always useful to have threaded things around to weld into the frame for some kind of mount, etc.

Welder Series original! This bracket welds to the frame instead of drilling & tapping the thin (1/8") wall tubing usually used.
Designed for stock or repro Model A hood latches. The center support must be bent, as shown, to give strength to the bracket. The bracket is shipped flat. This design is cleaner looking than the stock bracket and the 3/16″ steel is stronger.
