When we ran a full service chassis fab/turn-key hot rod shop a number of years ago, it was always useful to have threaded things around to weld into the frame for some kind of mount, etc.
Here’s a list of all our threaded things for your reference:
Drag Link Tube, 1928 - 40 Ford, various lengths
Connects the Pitman arm to the steering arm, for 1928-40 Fords with a solid axle.
Connects the spindle steering arms on early Ford front suspensions.
7/8″ x .156 heavy wall seamless tubing, direct threaded 11/16-18 LH/RH. Tie rod ends and jam nuts not included. Minimum and maximum center-to-center dimensions are approximate and assume jam nuts are used on both tie rod ends. Application is not limited to the Ford references shown, and might not be correct for all applications. e.g. when steering arms are modified, etc.
