Nashville TN – About ready to drive downtown and see if we can find the Gibson Guitar place and walk Broadway again.

Gibson Guitar in Nashville – Don’t know what we were expecting exactly, but we knew we were in the right place when we saw the huge guitar on the roof of the building up ahead. Just one small locked door with “Gibson Guitar Repair and Restorations” printed on it. Paul had this on his ‘must see’ list for the entire trip, so we didn’t want to turn around without at least trying. Rang the bell, told the guy where we were from and that Paul owns 2 vintage Gibsons, etc. He invited us in and gave us a personal tour of the place. Very special and a highlight for Paul.

Ryman Auditorium in Nashville – No parking but Dorothy quickly jumped out to get a shot of Paul in front of the building.

Ernest Tubb’s Record Store in Nashville

Collierville TN just east of Memphis. Quaint historic district with a lovely little park, old working service station, shops, train station. Will try to go back tomorrow to get a picture of the ’32 in front of the service station.
