Dear Welder Series… Mustang II on a ’30 Chev?

Dear Welder Series…
I am wondering if your Mustang 2 crossmember will work in a 30 Chev. I was told that they won’t because the front fenders mount on top of the frame top rail. Any suggestions you have are welcome.
Thanks Terry

Dear Terry…
The front fenders are the problem, Terry.  A Heidts Superide is the best solution.  A 34 Ford kit can be easily adapted to your Chev frame.

Thanks for looking at Welder Series parts.  I hope we can help in other areas of this project.

    Paul,
Could you not use a Model “A” crossmember with the short uppers and re-located shock towers on the ’30 Chevy?
Does Dave Vickery still make these??
